Would mainly be for camping/garden, but I'd like something a little funky. Am size 3 or 4, so could even be children's...

lots of patterns here but they do say joules on them which would put me off.

For comfort and classic style you can't beat hunters in my experience but probably not funky enough.

traceybath · 21/05/2009 19:39

bright pink hunters perhaps but they are expensive.

CouldYouWouldYouWithaGoat · 21/05/2009 19:40

hunters do some lovely colours. tk max had tons of their festival wellies (i.e. abit shorter and v. funky)

RinkyDinkyPinky · 21/05/2009 19:50

goat yes... tkmaxx usually good for footwear actually... I usually buy something I shouldn't, I just wish it wasn't such a scrum though- have 3yo and 3mo- neither of whom enjoy mooching much

I doubt it as don't really work at the moment as at home with children.

I've got navy hunters and i love them and am also a size 3 - find they give more support than most wellies and i like the adjustable bit round your calf too.

EachPeachPearMum · 21/05/2009 20:02

Is the footbed raised/moulded then rather than flat? because that sounds great... you could actually walk in the quite comfortably...
I am much more a navy person than pink they sound great

asda have some nice bright striped ones for about £12.

traceybath · 21/05/2009 20:09

I think it is a bit raised - well i'm normally a heels person and find flat shoes painful and i can walk in them very comfortably.

They've never rubbed around the top either because of the adjustable bit where as cheaper ones have.

traceybath · 21/05/2009 20:10

Oh and i bought mine from a small riding shop (even though i don't ride) for about £38 so a lot cheaper than i could find anywhere else.

MrsMerryHenry · 21/05/2009 20:22

Find some yourself, you lazy cow.

hellywobs · 22/05/2009 14:57

Well I wouldn't call them lovely but I bought a pair in my local Macmillan charity shop with daffodils on. They cost £8.

blondieminx · 23/05/2009 00:31

I got some great ones with flowers and butterflies from Millet's last year for £20.

New glossy version of the Hunter wellies available mid-June - they're so lovely, they made it into Grazia!
