I done well this year with my winter wardrobe but have no idea for this warmer weather?? I am 5ft 6 with short bob brown hair and am around a size 14!
My MIL kindly gave me £100 to go spend on me for doing so well at losing weight ( 1 1/2 since Jan) - so what will i be wearing in south of france this year???

I'd go for a good quality day dress with sleeves, so you can wear it for work, evening, an 'anywhere dress' you will use all the time. Go for brands such as Et Vous, Day Birger et Mikkelsen, Comptoir des Cotonnieres, Hoss Intropia, Tibi, etc for something a little bit different from the high street. I think better to spend on something you love for because it's a beautiful piece, rather than buy something trend led..

Trend? Who cares? Wear what you like!

Littlepurpleprincess · 25/05/2009 13:09

ps, you have a lovely MIL!

Whatever you decide don't do what I do whenever I get vouchers/money and FRITTER. I um and ah about buying a nice dress or pair of trousers and end up buying crappy tops and as much cheap rubbish as I can! I look back in dismay and think, 'what did I spand that on??'

I agree totally with Tigerbear. If you buy a lovely, good quality day dress you will wear it and wear it. Or a great pair of trousers or even expensive jeans. The outlay will pay dividends!

spend sorry

Yes, spend it all on a dress that really suits you. I've only just started to get into dresses, but they are fanastic, you don't have to worry about matching tops and bottoms and you could get something lovely for £100. If you get something in silk it will be cool in the summer and you can wear it with boots and a cardigan in the winter.

Lovely linen dress which is very versatile and would look great in the South of France .

Also very pretty
