...and it is quite possibly the most perfect piece of clothing I have ever had the pleasure of encountering

this one

looked scarily wispy when I took it from the wrapping but it fits beautifully, even with my 5 months bump

so glad you encouraged me to go for it - thank you!!

Are you going to post a modelling pic on your profile [hopeful emoticom]

Fimbo · 19/05/2009 17:28

It's lovely LTEC. I am very of you. My dh is quite a high earner but we never seem to have the money to spend on clothes.

TrillianAstra · 19/05/2009 17:29

Oooh yay, I remember telling you to buy that dress. Glad it looks nice in RL

castille · 19/05/2009 17:31

It's lovely

What will you wear it for?

LetThemEatCake · 19/05/2009 17:32

No modelling pic, I am embarro enough about all the ones of me and my feet!!

Fimbo - I work as a freelance journalist and do quite a lot of fashion so get quite good press discounts etc - otherwise I couldn't. I do buy a lot 2nd hand and high street too - please don't think that we are flashy or rich. Not at all. Just don't spend a lot on other things I guess.

castille - it's going to be my S/S09 day-to-night dress.

ie - worn everywhere, for everything!!

by day, chunky plastic jewellery. denim jacket. flip flops
by night - big hoop earrings, long silver pendant, layered silver bangles, metallic flats

that kind of thing. Park- to -pub wear.

If someone stands on the hem, will it end up round your knees?

noddyholder · 19/05/2009 17:40

LetThemEatCake · 19/05/2009 19:50

not around my knees, no - around my bump maybe, but can't imagine it getting much below that.

noddy - I have no boobs. None. Every cloud, I guess...

BobtheWoodmouse · 19/05/2009 20:15

I was just admiring your feet, lol. Is that Chanel's blue satin?

BobtheWoodmouse · 19/05/2009 22:21

and your bargainous polish but thanks for the heads up

LetThemEatCake · 19/05/2009 22:58

I'm all style & panache, me
Will madame be purchasing?

OP posts:
BobtheWoodmouse · 20/05/2009 15:57

Already bought the Blue Satin but I will re-think next time, it's lovely but I reckon I could get the same effect (Ms Sporty) for much less £££. Not convinced expensive polish any better than cheap stuff.
