I have massive self confidence issues at the moment (BF 7mth old baby, carrying excess baby weight etc etc) and have no idea what to wear. The do is a meal followed by a cocktail masterclass at a posh cocktail bar.

I'm a 14 at the moment, pear shaped, bit flabby all over and 5'4".

Help!

Oh and outfit must be cheap

Something like this? Either over jeans or black tights with high shoes and a cami underneath.

This is pretty but not sure how well it would work on a pear shape. This is nice and simple and this top could look good with a pair of jeans and a cardi/shrug?

Monkeyandbooba · 18/05/2009 19:59

The boobtube top is nice but a bit short for me, I think I look better with a longer top.

how about simple black with silver clutch, silver sandals and silver chunky bangle?

Clure · 18/05/2009 20:25

this with high heels and nice jewellery

can you do short sleeves?
do you prefer trousers or a skirt/dress?

i think a jacket is good for concelaing boobs

Monkeyandbooba · 22/05/2009 13:39

I like a dress and can do short sleeves, I have thin wrists

this style of dress looks very good on curvier girls.

nappyaddict · 22/05/2009 15:11

would look fab with opaque tights and stillettos or mary janes.

I like the dress Nappy but wouldn't it accentuate my hips rather than disguise my pear shape??
