i want them to be really comfortable (ie not too tight) but a neat fit at the waist and bum, and preferably dark blue rather than paler denim. I would be willing to spend up to £90 max. not sure where to begin- i dread buying jeans! am a diesel fan but not sure if diesel do flared...had a bad experience with Gap jeans (went baggy/saggy after one wear). don't like Next. Can't face going to TopShop. Had a bad experience with Zara jeans.(cheapie looking and don't suit me ) Gah! any suggestions anyone? i live in London so can get to most shops.

have you tried dorothy perkins or new look?

MerlinsBeard · 18/05/2009 16:34

Could you try a Levis shop?

French Connection do fabulous jeans.

ooh, hadn't thought of French Connection, will try that, thanks.
MumofMonsters - just goes to show how long it is since i last bought new jeans.....must have got my last Diesel pair about three years ago, maybe more. so i guess they are now about £120??
who thinks expensive jeans are worth it?? i'm never sure. i'm slopping around in £8 ones from Primark just now, but they don't fit properly. but they are comfy. once bought some Seven for all Mankind ones in a sale for £90 and they don't fit very well now either... but that's prob mostly because i bought them before losing some more baby weight
