I need a super trendy, preferably British fashion item for a man (shoes, trainers, clothes, accessories etc). He's an American music producer, very, very trendy. My DH needs to get him a gift. He is kind of grungey-but-hip-hoppy, white guy, late twenties. Something British and very cool...?

Help!

Lordy - go and buy a cool men's magazine for inspiration . . .

How about something from Paul Smith - although to be fair i am so far away from this bloke that i don't really have a clue!

my brother has this and he seems to have his idiosyncratic finger on the pulse

dairymoo · 17/05/2009 21:35

Maybe something like a trad men's cardigan from Lyle and Scott - hip and cool in a kind of geeky way...?

MrsMattie · 18/05/2009 10:20

Thanks all.

Like the Lyle and Scott suggestion.

I love that shop!@nancy75, but sadly, he is based in New York and I think can prob get most of those shoes - even the geeky limited edition Japanese ones - there. But will have a proper browse later.

Thanks, suggy. Going to pass that suggestion on, too.

Budget...hmmm... DH really wants to thank this guy for a job well done and will just suck up the cost, methinks - although we're talking hundreds, not thousands, probably...

Any more for any more?
