Another 'help me accessorise this dress' thread <<groan>>, sorry!!

Following on from my other thread about dressing my DH, please can I canvas some opinions on the best way to accessorise this little number, which I hasten to add looks MUCH better on.

Am thinking bangle of some decription and possibly sparkly earrings but not sure.

Make-up wise I plan to go for a really smoky eye look so maybe I don't need too much else.
Also, shoes? I have black peep-toe heels (pretty high) with a diamante bit at the front, or very high strappy heels in a kind of gun metal grey. Open to other suggestions tthough...

okay. My 2 cents worth....

not sure what the occasion is but I tend to think that body-con dresses look great as long as the shoes/ accessories need to play down the vampiness in order to make it work, if that makes sense.

So I would say NOT sparkly earrings unless you are talking diamond studs. Just one chunky bangle or cuff. And as for shoes, I'd go for a high pump rather than anything open, strappy or sparkly. A small peep toe would be okay but basically understated!!

I reckon Halle Berry looks sensational here - I guess she can get away with the shoes since it's red carpet but I'd go for something more demure, personally.

LTEC - I think I agree with you, and that the shoes, etc do need to be pretty simple. Like the idea of diamond studs - might see if Accessorise have something not quite so £££! Mmmm, and I LOVE the AMQ pumps, sadly my budget does not stretch to them but I might see if my cousin has something along those lines that I can borrow.

Right, have been shopping and bought these from New Look. Although the other ones I was thinking of (that I've already got) are like the first pair you linked to Eldon, with a tiny little diamante bow. Hmmmm...think I'll go with the black NL courts as bizarrely enough, even though they are higher, they are more comfy.
