Joe Brown catalogue? Any experience?

I'm 46 years size 14/16. I like some of the stuff in it but I know it's aimed at teenagers. Should I risk buying anything from it. I like the t-shirt,dress like tops and cardigans layered look for everyday. Will it work or should I just stick with John Lewis

I have bought a couple of things from them, I also really love their stuff! I have been impressed with the quality of their clothes but they don't come up big, so I would be inclined to go for the size 16. By the way, I am 42 and a size 12/14 and had to send the size 12s back and get size 14s. Hope that helps.
