It's really worth trying them though, as often these high heels come up a bit small. If you're not used to heels for example, you can get gel insoles that go in and that takes up a bit of room and makes them more comfy...

Can you get to a designer retail outlet like the one in Bicester Village ? It has LKB and a Jimmy Choo outlet, although you can't be sure you will find what you are after, you can get lucky and save money.

Also, can you wait till the sales in June/July? I would have thought there are likely to be some good reductions this year, given how difficult trading has been. I wouldn't choose something like this online, especially shoes. Bicester Village is a good idea; if you can get to London or Leeds or Edinburgh why not try Harvey Nichols, the sale is good fun and you might get top dollar labels for a lot less. Otherwise, Marks and Spencer isn't a bad option. I bought some sparkly sequined shoes from them for my wedding for £30-£40 (they were pretty and suited the dress and I figured no one was going to see much of the shoes under my dress anyhow).

ok these are the ones I'm having

Thankfully my search is now over and it hasn't cost me a small fortune and I haven't had to compromise, they're the right colour, they have a bit of sparkle they are peep toe etc the only tiny issue is they are not in 6.5 but they do have an elasticated back and the peep toe so I'm hoping that's enough to help them fit, if not I can get my money back and start the search again.

Thanks to everyone who has helped.
