Help my poor feet! Any tips for breaking in new shoes?

I am fed up of my feet being torn to shreds and getting covered in blisters every summer. There must be some way to break in new shoes gently....

where socks with them for few days! this must be done indoors of course

I did wonder about this and will give it a go, thanks! Trouble is I need my new shoes to wear to work when the nice weather comes back...

well if your waiting for nice weather you will have long enough to break in the shoes

Put baby powder on your feet. This stops the shoes from rubbing.

I've done this for years it really works.
