Anyone seen any nice summer shoes?

Not sure what I need really.

Actually I think I need two pairs, one a smart wedge pair and one a pair of flat pumps or sandals; not thong ones tho, as they make my feet look hideous. Or more so.

Anyone seen anything - either v cheap or v gorgeous?

Clarks have some nice wedges and these chunky heeled brown leather sandals I have just bought. Also Davinia by Hush Puppies (in Schuh)- nice combo of height and comfort. Look a bit clompy in pic but lovely on. (Top tip Amazon are selling them for £36!)

Clarkes have some lovely red patent wedges, but I can't find anything I'd wear them with! have been round town today and not seen a thing I like, sigh.

ooh yes. Strappy sandals by some designer doing collection for Camper. Sort of comfy Roman style.

Au contraire Fimbo, they serve the multi-function of being boots and yet breezy, what could be wrong with that?

Oh yes and on colder days like today, just whip out a pair of knee length socks, pop them on - sorted. Actually maybe pop socks would be a good 2nd choice.

I've just bought these

They're thongs, but very, very pretty. The photo doesn't do them justice. They're white leather with silver flowers/details. And really pretty too.

I never thought I'd buy a pair of Clark's shoes, to be honest, but these are lovely - well made, lovely materials and very comfortable.

I like these wedges from duoboots but they are a bit pricey and not terribly "smart". I still like them though.

Next have a few nice pairs in. One flat pair in (faux?) suede with tassels (spg?) all alone the front - I have them in beige and they make my feet look really tanned.
