some plain but pretty cream summer tops.

any suggestions?

I have gone through all the stuff that I never wear and sent most of it to the charity shop. But I did find three lovely summer skirts that I never wear because non of my tops go with them. I'm not a huge fan of cream (reminds me of my mothers wardrobe) but I reckon that this is the only colour that will go with all my skirts. My skirts are all quite pattered so I need something fairly plain in terms of colour, but don't want it to be too boring. I browsed the web a bit last night but couldn't find anything.

would white do instead?

I have a few white tops but I do think that a softer cream colour suits me better. They are much harder to find though so maybe I should widen my search. Also I keep hearing that white is the least flattering colour for my shape, but then maybe cream is just as bad?

This may be too floaty/frilly/lacey?

Am similar bra size to you and I got a few summery tops from Gap. Also find H+M, Zara and Oasis good.

Your are v welcome Muddleduck! I'm due a shopping trip to the UK soon (don't live there) and have spent ages prepping on the internet to avoid valuable time wasted running round the shops flapping arms in manner of headless chicken! Remembered I had seen a few tops that I thought were white (which is what I was looking for!)until I looked closely! Hope you find something you like!
