Anyone use/used Imodeen capsules or Perfectil?

I am trying to target improving skin and hair - before I'm much further into my 40's!

Have been tempted by Imodeen for years and never had the guts to shell out the hefty price for them.

Am using Perfectil just now and hoping for improvement.

I'm also using Perfectil at the moment. Not sure about any improvement though. My main concern is thinning hair. I was considering trying Nourkin but I think it costs about £60 a month.

I'd say perfectil is a waste of money. You could get something much better prescribed. My friend was on one that began with an S.

You might want to also think about additions to your diet rather than supplements. Brazil nuts and almonds are packed full of Vitamin E which is essential for skin health. My nails were very brittle and flaky a few months ago and I found that a handful of almonds each day made a massive difference.

Omega 3 & 6 is also great for dry skin/brittle hair so plenty of oily fish would also help.

You could also try massaging sweet almond oil onto your nails which will help to nourish the skin from the outside.

Make sure you are keeping yourself properly hydrated too.

Hi TracyK, your question popped up when I searched for Imedeen on Google. I am the Marketing Manager for the brand in the UK.

Imedeen has been scientifically proven to improve the quality and appearance of your skin from the inside. You can read more on www.imedeen.co.uk/youcandomore, where you can take the Lifestyle Skin Assessment to get advice on how to best care for the specific needs of your skin.

Thanks Kristoffer - I will have a look.

I do eat brazil and macadamia nuts - have been cutting down to a half dozen a day - I was eating far too many of thembefore - not good for the waistline.

I've also been trying to have a celery and avocado and ginger juice each morning.

fatjac, my hair is horribly fine & I have been taking Nourkrin & have definitely noticed a difference. It is £50 for a months supply for the Extra Strength (which you take for 6 months) & then £40 per month for the Maintain tablets. Boots often have buy one get one half price offeres or 3 for 2 offers. HTH

Thanks

I may have to invest. My hair is definately thinning, round the hair line is especially noticeable now. Mind you the grey roots dont help much either.
