Cardigan needed

I am in need of a cardi/shrug type of knitwear for everyday.

I am only 5'2" so nothing too long please.

Can anyone point me in the right direction of one that can be worn with jeans/linen trousers & skirts.

I bought a purple one in Next today (normally hate Next). It's waist length with a v deep v neck and three little buttons. 16 pounds. Mostly cotton with a bit of wool. I think they had it in a couple of other colours too.

Otherwise Gap have lots in the sale at the mo, for around 20 pounds or so. Different styles and colours.

I'm 5'1 with a short body and find getting cardi's that don't swamp me difficult. I'm liking these little summer cardi's in loads of colours at the moment

The New Look ones were too cropped for me: just drew attention to my chest but not in a good way! H&M had some cardigans too (a tenner) but they didn't feel anywhere near as nice as the Next one.

I got a duck egg blue cardi with short sleeves and 3 little buttons for £3 in Primark. They also had them in brown and beige. Length wise a little short but not cropped by any means.

I have been wearing it over a long sleeved skinny t shirt but hope to wear it over cami tops in the height of summer.

Uniqlo have got loads of really nice cardies in bright colours, I have an apple green one and a bright coral. 14.99 each.

I have the Next one in cream and dusky pink (instore not online) and I really like them. They wash well too.

Okay - wore the Next one to work today and had zillions of compliments. The colour is lovely - sort of lavender/hyacynth (sp?) rather than Cadbury type purple.

I bought a lovely coral coloured one from Mexx a couple of years ago for a wedding and it is still doing my proud. Not sure if Mexx is still going, anyone know?

Yes I think it is an ex-Mexx now. Shame as I've got a few nice tops from there.
