Charm bracelets, pandora, love links etc?

A friend got one of these with her childrens birthstones etc on and I thought a charm would be a nice gift for her birthday.
I don't know what type it is but sure I can remember her mentioning both the ones mentioned in the title.

Does anyone know if the charms would fit any bracelets, or are they all specific? I could ask her but not seeing her until then and would be obvious if ring up to ask!

I have a links of london sweetie bracelet which I bought with money that was left to me by my late grandad. I wanted a charm to remember him by so I had one made by a local (independent) jeweller.

It's a silver disk with a garnet (his birthstone) set in the middle. The jeweller put a lobster clasp on it so it is easily removable.

It cost £40 so a little cheaper than the ones you can buy.

charms for Pandora and Love links are different. Have you seen it? What does it look like?
