akhems · 09/05/2009 21:20

I have and have bought 5 pairs

reducedfatkettlechip · 09/05/2009 21:21

Depends on price. I love Seven for all Mankind but at £150 a throw, I have to pace myself!
If yours were £50 or under I'd buy 2 probably, or maybe 3..

I couldn't afford more than one pair, even if they where from H&M

Shitemum · 09/05/2009 21:24

I did this once, bought 3 pairs. Fashions changed quite a lot before they wore out.
By only 2 pairs...

MilaMae · 09/05/2009 21:35

They are £32 and believe me I've scoured the shops for months.

Sadly I do tend to still live in jeans( got 3 under 6 and still a SAHM).

So do you reckon 2 or 3?

I have some favourite clothes that i really regret not buying 2 of at the time IYSWIM.

I have resolved to do this in future.

I have also discovered that the trousers of a suit will always wear out faster than the jacket, so in future will buy separates and two pairs of trousers. (I have to wear suits for work).

reducedfatkettlechip · 09/05/2009 21:45

2 max in same colour, maybe 1 more if in a different colour. However fab my jeans are, I do get bored a bit quickly of wearing the same thing.

verylapsedrunner · 09/05/2009 21:46

2 pairs of M&S here I'm on my 2nd set of jeans.

pollywobbledoodle · 09/05/2009 22:01

well i bought 3 in each of 2 colours but they were only £12.50 a pop......worth it for not having to do that thing where you end up with no clean jeans because of unexpected vomit/mud.....however am no fashion goddess so i don't notice if i am on trend or have fallen off it

blinks · 09/05/2009 22:40

she's not telling.

boooooohissssss

DontlookatmeImshy · 09/05/2009 22:45

Hmm, I've learnt from experience to always wear and wash something that appears great at first before buying more than one. But if after wearing and washing they are still great i would probably buy 3 or 4 depending on price and what they were.
I have bought 5 or 6 tshirts of the same style but in various colours when I've something really good.
Jeans probably would buy 2 or 3unless they were very cheap, then maybe more

I have 2 in the same style in different colours (and then 5 more pairs in different styles!). I'm with StayFrosty on this one - skinnies tucked into books, bootcut, flared, straight leg, 3/4....and then there are all the different types of denim too!
