What do all those celebs on Strictly wear to make their legs look fab in those skimp outfits?

I have to go to a Superhero/villain fancy dress party (gulp)

The only thing I've established so far is that female superheros wear very little in the way of clothes.

I've been trying to come up with something with a bit more coverage, but failing atm, unless I go as Supergran

So, if I do resort to something like this supergirl are there really thick dance type tights that would make me feel more covered and improve my dimply/spotty thighs?

I am size 10/12 and 5'6", so should be OK, but I am also almost 40

Of course if anyone's got a better idea - gratefully received

this sort of thing?

pippo · 09/05/2009 20:03

Do you think you could carry off a cat suit ala cat woman?

sameagain · 09/05/2009 20:45

Thanks Metatron - will they look like tights or leggings on? i.e underwear or clothes?

Thanks pippo. I think Cat Woman is my current favourite, but even so I'll need some dutch courage just to get dressed!

X-men = leather

As long as you don't go as the naked shapeshifty one who only wears blue paint and scales....

frAKKINPannikin · 10/05/2009 16:21

OR go as the mum from The Incredibles pre-lycra.

supergran is the best idea.

seriously.

Metatron · 12/05/2009 12:47

When I was small I was in a panto and the dancing girls wore 2 pairs of tights to make their legs look fab in v.short attire.
