What would you wear on your legs and feet with this dress?

Got a couple of do's coming up and got this dress for it. actually thought i would be sending it back but i look good in it! (first dress ever!)

Problem is that i will NOT have my legs out-knobbly knees and far too pale and always bruised from boisterous monsters children.

Got a wedding reception in June - but will be the photographer so will be outside and will also have the DCs in shifts with DH so needs to be DC proof!

Also a 21st in August doing a swanky club type place and then just whenever there is a do i will wear this !!

(i am the kind of person who keeps clothes forever-my jumper today is 10 years old)

oh and it's kind of like a cadburys purpley blue rather than midnight blue IYSWIM

was going to suggest 3/4 leggings with metallic ballet pumps - though maybe a bit too casual. Could you get a good fake tan?

oooh that's an idea - and comft too.

Can't guaruntee a good fake tan - only ever done it once and looked like a bit of streaky bacon!! May have to sun bed it a wee bit

Leggings here too - you could get the ones that go over your feet a bit with some gold or blue stappys.
