What do i wear with this dress for a wedding?

I need some kind of jacket/shrug and shoes. I cant decide what colour would go best. The detail around neckline is pink, orange and a mink ish colour.

The wedding is next bank holiday. I need something to keep me warm if weather is terrible. I'll be in the outfit all day so need comfy shoes.It is a church wedding with a posh reception.

Im a size 12-14, petite, 28 yrs old, pale, blonde. I suit greens (have green eyes)would that go with dress?? I've been looking at Monsoon for inspiration.

Please help me put all the pieces of the outfit together. The wedding is a work colleague of DH so alot of his work friends will be there. I want to feel comfy and not look out of place. I seem to have lost the ability to put clothes together and dress my self in something other than jeans since DS arrived.

Not 'getting at' you mrsmaidamess - just amazed that people genuinely do make such an effort for the school run - not in a bitchy way, just in a 'wow that is totally different to my school run outfit (if you can call it that - whatever I find at 7.30am that is clean and comfy)type of thing.

You need silver with this dress. A nice super fine knit 50's length metallic wool cardigan and a very simple, low kitten heeled silver sandal with as little and as thing strap detail as possible.

No effort required. I'm naturally glamorous at all times.

And where is the OP we've worked so hard for, eh?

I wear a thong and a gimp mask for the school run.

Let you know which colour dress would have helped... Its the blue one. I think its called blue black but is actually navy with a hint of purple if that makes sense.

I like the m&s wrap in purple and i've seen some purple sling backs in next. It depends what the colours are like together. I also like the Monsoon shrug in petrol with maybe nude shoes. I have a bright pink cardigan that matches the pink in the dress but its too informal. I like the idea of a wrap but knowing my luck it will be freezing.

Think i'll have a look for some nude shoes. I must have tried on every dress thats in shops currently but my shape has changed so much since ds and i still need to lose a stone. Shopping has never been an issue for me but now i hate it
