Little red bumps on legs .....

What to do about them? Is waxing instead of shaving the only solution? Googled it and someone suggested rubbing olive oil, baking soda and aspirin in .

The question's on behalf of my 15yo dd by the way - she's never waxed before but is willing to try despite seeing male teachers having their legs waxed for charity...

I used to get a shaving rash on my legs straight after - is this what you mean? It seems to be caused by skin irritation so I avoid it now by using a half-decent razor (cheapo disposables are too scratchy); use shower gel or shaving foam as a barrier and make sure the water isn't too hot (but not cold either). Moisturising afterwards helps too.

As the hair grows out the skin can becocme irritated again, so exfoliate gently and moisturise regularly to make sure that the hair doesn't ingrow. (Ingrowing hairs look like little red bumps)

Waxing never suited me: the pain and badly ingrowing hairs put me off, but lots of people swear by it... good luck.
