Comfortable sandals

Oh God when did I get so old but can anyone recommend some really comfortable sandals that are also attractive please? I broke my foot 6 months or so ago and I can't really wear heels for any length of time yet so I need flats. I'm looking for sandals pretty enough to wear to Chelsea Flower Show and comfortable to wear to walk around in all day. Anyway got any ideas?

Oh and I really cannot get away with toe posts, they rub like mad, and I need them to be fastened onto my feet - I have strange feet I think because shoes fall off me (that sounds odd).

Birkinstocks. My mum falls out of sandals as well

There are loads of gladiator style sandals about this year in varying degrees of gladiator-ness. Most of them look daft I think but I have seen a few that look quite dainty, try somewhere like New Look or Barratts

You're going to Chelsea Flower Show but think it's the sandals that age you?
