.Size 20 .
need them for a mama mia themed night. Can't wear either lycra, spandex not a wedding dress! Can't find Donna-esque dungarees in my large size anywhere. Has any one seen any anywhere?

absolutely no idea - brain. not. working.

chimchar · 01/05/2009 10:05

would it work if you got a white decorators overall boiler suit thing, and wore it with a belt around your waist, ironed the collar flat and wide, with the buttons undone to your cleavage iykwim???
were those jumpsuit things 3/4 legs too? cut off the bottoms and hem them?

you could then wear a little scarf tied around your neck and some boots?

muriels wedding has a lot of abba refernces and toni collette was beautifully curvy in the film.

DisasterArea · 01/05/2009 14:35

those jumpsuits/boiler suits are truly hideous.

missblythe · 01/05/2009 14:52

who knew such a place existed?

missblythe · 01/05/2009 14:54

Lots of 2nd hand ones here:

do you think these would fit me? £30 but can't be arsed with faffing about making some.
When they say waist measurement would that be the actual measurement of the trousers or body? i.e if my waist was 40 would they fit?

Macdog · 01/05/2009 18:26

If they are men's that'll mean that hip measurement would be 40 too though

missblythe · 01/05/2009 19:01

They do look like they get a bit wider towards the hips though.

I like these, they look like they would be softer than denim:
