what can i wear on my feet that wont make me look like a teenager but for weather 2 nippy for flipflops?

mainly school run. i dont want to wear trainers as i look abd feel like a teenager. something easy to get on...please dont say converse as i actually havent found a pair id wear! i like ballet pumps but cant wear socks with them!

I have a pair of silver leather boden lace ups that are fab for the school run and you can wear socks.

thanks but they again are abit converse, i guess the reason i want to wear socks is because of not wanting bare feet at peoples houses but i guess i could tska a pair with me. also do your feet not smell if you dont wear socks and dont thdey rub??
