I have too many clothes

It is annoying me actually.

Living in hope that I will lose some weight.

Not sure some things will ever fit me again as my breasts are much bigger than before I had babies and seem to be growing by the month. One is so much more noticeably bigger than the other.

Have the predictable tummy after 3 babies in 4 years but it is going a little bit.

I had the problem of too many clothes.

Was very strict and only kept a very small amount that I may one day fit into. Felt a sense of satisfaction at getting rid of them.

Megglevache · 22/04/2009 17:39

Why don't you e bay them and buy new stuff with the proceeds or swap with friends?

MrsMattie · 22/04/2009 17:40

Poor, poor you@Muffin . You could always send them my way...

Seriously, though, I know what you mean. I chucked a load of small-size-12 stuff out a while ago as I was sick of having a huge wardrobe full of clothes but only three things that actually fit me. I have saved a few things that I have a hope in hell of gettiing into/loved too much to chuck, but I am slowly building up a wardrobe that fits the body I actually have....

No friends and not ebayable.

I have had one sort out and put away trousers I can't currently get into but have tonnes of tops that seem too short now I have had my third baby.

Also, I bought a lot of cheapie stuff and it shows.

Jesus, I didn't mean to tell you three times!

MuffinBaker · 22/04/2009 17:41

You are welcome, Mrs Mattie

MuffinBaker · 22/04/2009 17:42

I mean welcome to have them

It sounded more and more sarcastic every time it popped up!

I had a glut of clothes that didn't fit or that I didn't wear anymore. I got ruthless, chucked most of them to a charity shop and then followed a magaqzine's suggestion of a capsule wardrobe - best thing I ever did!

MuffinBaker · 22/04/2009 17:44

Feels a waste to get rid of perfectly good clothes which have all cost a lot of money

OP posts:
MuffinBaker · 22/04/2009 17:44

But then keeping them on the off chance is stupid too

EldonAve · 22/04/2009 18:06

if they are perfectly good then put them away in storage or ebay them
