Hi all,
Don't often get on to this part of mn cos I have no style

Anyway, dd - 9 is just starting to develop. At the moment she is wearing the same style of vest as when she was 2! Boys and girls get changed together in the classroom so dd feels she does need something. Her vest looks awfully hot making.

Can you recommend something that doesnt shout out 'look at me' that might be a bit cooler and perhaps just a teeny bit less little girl.

dd says she doesnt know what the other girls wear apart from her best friend who wears the same type of vest as she does.

Thanks

Petit Bateau does lots of little tops and vests for all stages of development.

I hope you get some good suggestions because I've been wondering the same for my dd (10).

She hasn't changed shape yet, but wants to wear a vest on PE days. I think she's just becoming a little more modest when she's getting changed. But of course a vest is soon going to be too hot.

I wondered about a little half crop vest thingy. I know what I mean but can't describe it or know where to buy one!

This top would be good under sports wear.

Lots at M&S. Looks like a Crop Top is the thing you are after.

Thank you all The links are really helpful!

I'm not ready for any of this! I'm sure it was only last week she was a toddler.

I think I'll take dd for a girly shopping trip on Saturday.

My dd likes the M&S crop tops. We found some that were styled a bit like bras - most of her friends have developed so she felt odd being the only one not wearing a bra but doesn't need one yet!

matalan have some crop tops that have bra type fastenings and adjustable straps but are not shaped at the front IYSWIM
