Does anyone ever feel, walking into Monsoon, that they have actually stepped into a Boden catalogue- or is it just me?

I think B has better quality knitwear, but most of Monsson this season is applique, applique, applique and halter neck summer dresses...or yards of garigs satin-y dresses.

I would not be at all surprised if they used the same suppliers.

Not seen Monsoon's latest stuff but generally I really like Monsoon cothes. Have not yet seen the appeal of Boden however.

Haven't been in Monsoon in ages. The last time I did (over 6 months ago) was really appalled at quality of fabrics and finish so haven't bothered since.

Monsoon clothes aren't worth the money in my opinion, unless you go in the sales, and then only during the last week! The quality isn't very good, the flimsy fabrics go shabby very quickly and sequins get caught on things. They are best for special occasion dresses that you only wear once or twice, and don't do any real work in.

I've bought some quite Monsoonesque looking clothes in Primark at a fraction of the price and they have lasted really well (5 summers so far). In fact I think Primark got taken to court for copying Monsoon.

Can't comment on Boden though, but from what I have seen they look a bit dull/trying really hard to be jaunty.
