My mother helpfully pointed out that maybe I'm too old to be showing off my upper arms these days. I'm a 38 year old 5'10" size 14, not overweight, but have flabby bits like everyone.

Anyway, now I am paranoid about wearing virtually all my summer wardrobe. Where can I buy nice tops with a bit of sleeve? Tunic/kaftan style maybe? I looked in Monsoon today and everything was sleeveless!

what kind of top?
T shirts? Blouses? Wrap overs?

Dare I suggest Boden, Kew, White stuff?
or start working out doing tricep dips and trim your wings!!!

i don't think you can spot reduce fat though can you? firming the underlying muscle is all well and good, but if that's where you store fat they'll still be flappy i've always had arms like legs of lamb, even when i'm pretty skinny, just bad luck i guess.

there's still loads of bolero tops/shrugs around atm, or just a little cardi, if you really are paranoid (but i find it easier not to fret about stuff like that, no-one's perfect after all - if you love an item of clothing it'll make you happy/confident enough it really doesn't matter).

There are lots os kimono tops around, let me see if I can find a few...

OOh never saw that mone minko it is lovely. (and you can always layer that kind of thing over a long sleeved T for more warmth)
