Advice please

I bought this dress recently, but, you can't really tell from the pictures, it is made from a light cotton (read: see-through). It is kind of alright, because it is a wrap dress, but it still needs something underneath. This is especially for the top bit, as without anything underneath it is VERY v neck (though the norks look fab).

I was thinking of getting my mother to make me making a slip to go underneath, preferably in the same shade of blue as the dress.

What do you think?

I think I would probably do likewise, although I am not the most fashion-forward person you could ever meet. Would you need to make one, or could you buy one?

The dress is beautiful, btw.

You could try wearing a camisole of either a matching or contrasting colour. white would be nice.

Lovely dress!

Why not fo for a nude slip, that way, the lovely different blues you get from the wrapping will not disapear (as they would with a dark bottom layer)

M&S do little short nude slips. but I thought they did shorter ones than this:
