Kew- sizing?

How do Kew sizes come up? Are they much like Jigsaw? Does anyone have any of their current crop of frocks which they would like to recommend as a, ahem "school-run dress"?

They are quite big I find

blouseenthusiast · 21/04/2009 12:39

Thanks, CD, is that bigger than Jigsaw would you say? Find Jigsaw on small size as compared with say Toast... hmmm

CountessDracula · 21/04/2009 12:44

yes I think a bit bigger than jigsaw
Not got anything from toast

blouseenthusiast · 21/04/2009 12:46

Ah, that's v helpful. Find Jigsaw seems to have got smaller [wilfully deludings elf emoticon]

agree that their sizing is generous. bought a dress in their sale last summer (haven't had chance to wear it yet) and is size 6. Am normally a 10/12

blouseenthusiast · 21/04/2009 12:50

Wah that is way generous. Am 10/12 (more like 12 in jigsaw), wonder what should go for...

dress is fitted at top but fairly A-line /empire style though

motherinferior · 21/04/2009 13:42

I have a couple of large-ish Kew tops so would agree re sizing.

pagwatch · 21/04/2009 13:50

Kew sizing is not a bit bigger - it is farkin huge !
I am a 10 occasionally 12, in most places ( including jigsaw) and yet the Kew 8 hangs off me. Size 10 skirts are massive.

I go in there when I am feeling fat. It feels great for about 10 mins

howtotellmum · 21/04/2009 14:37

which dress is it? I have tried most of them on recently.

blouseenthusiast · 21/04/2009 15:05

Glad I started this thread - may have to go the shop and try things on. Haven't worn an 8 for er twenty years.

i am a 12/14 and the 12 is alwasy more than ample.

t shirts and sweaters can be sloe fitting - if you want room to later go bigger.
