Looks hideous but try wearing with ankle socks in the house for a day. Breaks them in a bit and means no blisters? Very sexy too!

you could try getting some sticky back fleecy stuff, scholl make some it will be in ffoot area of chemist.

Bizarrely, rubbing the inside of the shoe with a bar of soap seems to really work.

My gladiators were agony last summer until some genius MNetter suggested that, and I was all cured.
