Has anyone read 'Allen Carr's easy way to loose weight' - what did you think?

Ok I read The east way to stop smoking, and stopped for 3months, but when I was drinking I started smoking again. I found it easy to stop smoking and did not miss it untill I was drinking.

I have read his easy way to loose weight and I'm not sure about the information in there. Has anyone else read it so I can discuss it with?

The thing is he said in the book we do not need dairy products as we do not need calcium, but I am finding that hard to believe, espically as I make an effort everyday to ensure my dd gets enough calcium as she does not drink milk.

Anyway would like to hear what others think, and if they did loose weight after reading it?

He's wrong about you not needing calcium, but I'd be surprised if he put put that way. What is NOT needed at all is milk or its derivatives. In Africa and China, where little or no milk is drunk after weaning, osteoperosis is rare; all the calcium comes from vegetables.

The drink a pint a day is bollocks, and supports the dairy industry.

Don't know about the weight loss as I haven't read the book.

Well he did say you can get everything you need from fruit and veg so maybe that is what he means.
