Big knickers...

I'm looking for some not too hideous knickers with legs for the summer. I always get chafing between my thighs even when I am not overweight (TMI, I realize!) and bloomers seem the only answer! It used to happen even when I was a skinny teen - it must just be the way my legs are attached - an my mum made me a pair of satin pants that were not too embarrassing and worked perfectly. Any ideas? I don't advise googling big knickers - I tried and now know a lot of things I didn't and wish I still didn't!

lol @ Googling big knickers! Thanks for the warning. Normally when someone says not to Google something I can't help myself but since Googling "Dragonbutter" (Really, don't do it.) I'm cured.

Anyway... What about gym shorts? This Pineapple pair are made of a soft jersey. Or what about light/medium control long knickers? Or longer length boxer shorts? Or just a pair of good old fashioned bloomers.

Loving the bloomers! Primark have some cheap "cycle short" style knickers to suck it all in

Ok, when you say "not too hideous" is it because someone is going to see you wearing them? If not then would Tubigrip or similar be too stupid a suggestion? You could just wear it on one thigh. Much cooler than big knickers.

I think tubigrip have to be too tight for comfort or it would fall down, wouldn't it? Good idea though!

Love the pretty bloomers, Amandoh - might have to have some anyway.

i have this problem as well and decided the only solution was to make my own as i only like to wear cotton underwear especially in the summer.

hm i see their is a market for this sort of thing....best set up my etsy account and start sewing.

I bought some last year from ebay, they were 20 denier tights that only came to my knee.
