Maternity clothes - any recommendations ?

I won't be buying any for a few weeks but have started to have a look online at the "usual" high street places (Next, Red Herring at Debenhams etc.) and have been left uninspired

So does anyone have any recommendations for good maternity retailers please ?

honestly Picchu maternity should pay me commission as i always recommend them (they don't though).

here

ooh they've got a sale!

ASOS have just brought out a large range - it doesn't seem too pricey. Vertbaudet has some nice clothes too and there's often some good promotional codes around for % off and free delivery. I think those are what I'd use if/when I got pregnant again.

I do love Picchu and really hope I get an "event" to go to because some of their dresses are lovely

Didn't know about ASOS - will go and have a look

Thanks

Mamas and Papas often have some cool stuff:

Seraphine for jeans and trousers
www.seraphine.com

Isabella Oliver for tops (trousers and jeans very poor quality) www.isabellaoliver.com

My staples were:

  • a Couple of Isabella Oliver wrap tops and a black wrap dress
  • ink blue narrow-legged jeans from Topshop (but I like under the bump maternity jeans, you may not?)
  • extra long maternity leggings from Topshop / M&S
  • long maternity vests, casual summery trousers and the odd top from H&M Mama.
  • Gap did a small but v nice Spring/Summer materntiy range last year, including some lovely cardis/tops. Worth a look.
  • if you are petite, Zara has a few nice bits, but I am 5'11 and a 12-14 pre pregnancy and found their stuff just didn't fit me.
  • the occasional cheap 'fashion' top from New Look or Dotty P's

Excellent thanks. Wouldn't have thought of Topshop or Zara, so will have a look there.

MrsMattie and I obviously have similar taste ! Mamas and Papas is always worth a look as they seem to have almost constant sales on their maternity wear. Oddly Mothercare is also worth a look - only today I was wearing a top everyone compliments me on that I got from the maternity range there.... Crave maternity also do some nice stuff.

www.hautemama.co.uk is good.

also don't forget to look at non-mat stuff which is cut in a way to accommodate a bump. I'm 17 weeks and just bought a top from Next which is perfect here's a picture but it's a terrible photo, just can't be arsed with the Next website, sorry.
Have also splashed out an a few more expensive bits from mywardrobe.com, like this and this - but figure that since they're non-maternity, I'll be able to wear them after the bub is born too.

sorry was being lazy, next website is not that bad.

here's the top, the one in the middle, but I tie the tie to the back
