School Run Dress seekers over here!

I'm not really a SRD expert (or fashion one come to think of it!) but just had a browse round the shops and was v impressed with the selection of dresses in Benetton - in terms of style, price and colours. Would never have thought of looking in there before now. Of course their website is pants so I can't do any links to the ones I saw but they have a nice black tunic style linen dress with a scoop neck, slightly puffed sleeves and an elasticated drawstring drop waist so it didnt look too baggy like some tunic style dresses. Also did it in white.

Not a school run dress but they also had a fab black silk dress with a high scoop neck and no sleeves with 2 large cream flowers on which would be great for a wedding and perfect for hiding lumps and bumps as it was fitted over boobs and they just kinda hung down to the knee - but in a v flattering way!

Dam you Benetton website!

Any other suggestions for all SRD seekers?!

The Benetton linen tunic dress sounds nice OllieWollieWoo. I wish there was a Benetton near me as I love their little cardies.

DS3 is only 3 and I'm going to home ed anyway so I don't have to worry about doing the school run ever again .
However, I think a "quick pop to the shops" dress and the school run dress are pretty much one and the same so I'd go for something like this under a little denim jacket or short sleeved cardie as I hate my upper arms. I like this linen dress too but wish it was a lighter colour. This dress is pretty and an absolute bargain at £12.00.

Oh, I like that Peacocks dress! I might have to get that...

Not sure what a SRD is really, but suspect I haven't got a School Run Body...

H&M has several dresses like the nice Peacocks one - am tempted by the stripy one in the top right corner of this link - it comes in 3 colours but I like the blue one (warning - link is to the Dutch H&M website which does mail order unlike the UK in case you think you are going mad and seeing a load of unrecognisable herdy gurdy language!)
