My skin is horrid

I have really oily skin and am prone to a few spots.

After a few hours at work it feels really grim and sticky. I can feel how bad it is without even touching it and often go to the loo to splash water on my face to get rid of the sensation.

Can anyone recommend any good (and preferably cheap) products? I don't wear foundation, fwiw.

You should look for a moisturiser that has salicylic acid it as it will help keep your skin matt and more comfortable. Loads of cheaps ones in boot,s just check ingredients list. Try no.7. Use it night and day for best effect and it should help calm excess oil production.

Get thee to the Oil Cleansing Method thread!

I have oily skin too, and I think the thing about it getting all greasy during the day is down to bad balancing with the moisturisers, cleansers and toners I used to use. I was stripping the oil out and making it produce more.

I've only been on the OCM for 3 days (but it's working so far, skin is improved already) but there are lots of oily people there who say it's fab for keeping the greasiness down. SOunds counter-intuitive, but it might work!
