Dunno. I liked the green and white dress, they didn't say where that was from either.

moonshine · 15/04/2009 11:58

Pencil skirt was from M&S

southeastastra · 15/04/2009 12:00

Keep an eye on this page for dress and other things (takes off stalker hat)

LadyGlencoraPalliser · 15/04/2009 12:12

Thanks Moonshine.
I liked a lot of the stuff he picked for that woman - but even my 9-yr-old DD pointed out that it wasn't really a proper wardrobe as there was nothing she could wear for 'just doing ordinary things in'. I wish they would be realistic on one of these shows and do a capsule wardrobe for someone who needs to go to Tesco and walk the dog and clean the bathroom rather than one that takes you from 'important meetings' to 'lunches with friends' and 'evenings out'.

southeastastra · 15/04/2009 12:13

i thought that too a bit ladyglencora, but she really did need help with those hideous clingy black dresses .

LadyGlencoraPalliser - my wife says the green and white spotty dress might be from Hobbs but Gok had also put a pettycoat underneath to draw attention away from the calf area.

She thinks it is the green and white spotty one on the left of this page

Yes, where were the 'slobbing around in' clothes. The pencil skirt combo was nice but not something you can swan around in whilst loading the dishwasher or taking the rubbish out in.

She had pretty good legs (although not for tight minis!) but had a bit of a rugby-player walk - wonder if it was because she was wearing one of those 'suck it all in' underwear suits that Gok always seems to put everyone in...

steamedtreaclesponge · 15/04/2009 12:28

There were some slobbing around clothes - jeans, wrap-around cardies etc

I love the capsule wardrobe idea but I just think I would get immensely bored of wearing the same things all the time!

LadyGlencoraPalliser · 15/04/2009 12:28

Thanks very much ABetaDad's wife, that looks like the one! Yes, he did put a net petticoat underneath - I noticed that. Brilliant for shredding your tights!

steamedtreaclesponge · 15/04/2009 12:32

Ooh I hate net petticoats - they are so scratchy that I have to wear another petticoat underneath to protect my legs and end up feeling like some Victorian lady.

These on the other hand do just as good a job and are nice and fluffy.

ABetaDad · 15/04/2009 12:33

My wife says the petticoat is/can usually be lined with silk organza to stop that problem.

moonshine · 15/04/2009 12:39

My idea of slobbing out clothes are something with an elasticated waist 'yoga'-type trousers and old t-shirt.

I have never seen anyone wear one of those petticoats under a dress - who does?
