Love the dress but agree that it might not be smart enough. It's the drawstring hem isn't it. It almost reminds me of a parka.

This Jean Paul Gaultier dress is a little more expensive at £98.00 and doesn't have the crossover neckline but it's the right colour, fabric and shape.

Not very similar at all but the right colour and fabric and a bargain at M&S.

I like the new look one apart from the fact that it's polyester. All the others are a bit too clingy. I liked the way the cotton one from Warehouse hung IYSWIM.

Ooh don't know, that was on their website - thought I saw their shop in Nottingham open two weeks ago - mind you things close so quickly now.....

I've got a wedding in the summer and saw that on the website and liked it but i'm the same as you.
Dresses are soooo hard

not tried it on but someone in work was wearing a very similar dress today, in grey. She said she got it from Primark. Might scoot into town to try them both on.
