While we're all (prematurely?) thinking about summer wardrobes...please help me

Forget your bickering discussions about white linen trousers and please help me find a fab outfit for my brother's wedding.
Wedding is end of June, church then marquee reception in garden.

I am 5'8, size 12/14 (hoping to be a 12 by then anyway) and curvy with an okay cleavage and a little bit of a tummy.

I like strong colours and am not averse to a sassy print or two.

TIA oh stylish ones.

Dress or trouser type outfit?

mollyroger · 13/04/2009 20:36

budget (ish)?

Do you want something flexible for wearing opportunities afterwards, or are you happy to just have a fab frock?

GossipMonger · 13/04/2009 20:36

budget?

are we talking dorothy perkins or Coast type money??

ThePhantomPooer · 13/04/2009 20:40

i have been eyeing this up for a summer wedding

Not too sure on the straps though.

mollyroger · 13/04/2009 20:42

am thinking this has some scope and good for nice norks, without clinging to stomach too much?

mollyroger · 13/04/2009 20:43

c'mon Olivia, we need a budget to work with, dahlink....

OliviaMumsnet · 13/04/2009 20:50

Definitely looking for a dress but also I am rather white of arm and averse to fake tan so perhaps a wrap or jacket to cover them.

Sorry, knew I'd forget something. Budget!

Well it's my brother's wedding so definitely coast budget and maybe more for a FAB dress.

Ooh love that turquoise one TPP

OP posts:
mollyroger · 13/04/2009 20:54

or cheaper, similar style but turquoise

love this if I was dark haired...

like the simplicity of style with nice print

mollyroger · 13/04/2009 20:55

they have a zillion wraps and shrugs too

mollyroger · 13/04/2009 21:00

oh and I'd stick with monsoon over Coast, if I were you.
this little gem is part of coast's wedding collection. Boak!

ThePhantomPooer · 13/04/2009 21:02

like this one too

Coast is hideous atm, their dresses are bloody awful.

OliviaMumsnet · 13/04/2009 21:30

Oooh, is this too bridesmaidy?

OP posts:
mollyroger · 13/04/2009 21:40

hmm, a little...
is this too safe?

OliviaMumsnet · 13/04/2009 22:14

Thanks for all these so far
I like that style mollyroger but prefer the colour of my bridesmaidy one.
