Can I wear a maxi dress on the school run?

I have my eye on this, but dunno when else I'd wear it. I do love it though and want an excuse to buy it!

our playground is like a catwalk

my kids playground was never a catwalk [wrong side of the tracks emoticon]

You see people wearing: nurses outfits, formal outfits, blue all in ones with paint on them, tacky cheap looking outfits, sometimes they come dressed up... no one bats an eyelid in England, so who cares?

Just for the record I do not plan what to wear for the school run until the very morning I get dressed...

It is a day dress so I started wondering (before spending any money on something I would never actually wear!) whether I would look a bit mad if I wore it when picking the children up!

If you like it, 'course you can! Speaking as someone whose wardrobe consists of work uniform and jeans, I'd say take any opportunities to wear whatever you like!

some people might think its ott, but i say if you like it and it makes you happy wear it.

If I had that dress I would look like this every time I wore it.
