Following on from the bra thread, how many pairs of pants do you have?

I have no clue, beyond "a lot". About 7 pairs of girl boxers alone (having found out what a BRILLIANT and warm underwear item this is), tons of thongs (never warn) and about 5 pairs that match bras. And assorted hangers on.

do i have to go and count ??

loads,

Alibabaandthe40bunnies · 12/04/2009 23:42

loads - about 30 I think which is clearly excessive.

i thought the boxers woudl be comfortable but they go wedgy on me,
never ever would i wear a thong.

mrsmaidamess · 12/04/2009 23:44

Oh I have several pairs of black lacy G stringers for everyday (don't tell morningpaper)

I have period pants, great lumpen things in dark colours.

I have cycling short style control knickers for wobbly days.

So, all my bases covered really.

CurlyhairedAssassin · 12/04/2009 23:47

Mine seem to be ALL big grey period pants! Clearly a trip to M&S is in the offing.....

Poor DH....I need to make more of an effort with this things!

TrillianEAstraEgg · 12/04/2009 23:47

Lots. Nearly a whole drawer full.

I should in theory have about 15 g-strings alone, as they come in 5-packs from M&S (just thin soft material, it's comfy and I don't actually feel it between my butt cheeks, unlike when other pants ride up there)

CurlyhairedAssassin · 12/04/2009 23:48

these things.....or these thongs.....whatever.....

CurlyhairedAssassin · 12/04/2009 23:51

Seeing as this is a knickers thread, can someone explain the thong thing? I had a pair once - they covered so little of me that I wondered why people who love them so much just don't go knickerless?

tonybleh · 12/04/2009 23:52

The thongs are a left-over from when I was younger. They are good for non VPL moments, whereas knickerless would be too much. Much too much.

thank goodness others have lots too; I have half a drawer full, and I thought it was excessive. Now I realise I'm just normal.

Loads, compared to my 5 bras! About 30 at the last count- but they are all pretty much the same- mainly all white, all cotton or almost all cotton, M&S, mixture of high legs ( don't like), bikini (like) brazillian ( not sure- seem to disappear up my bum). I have been very adventurous recently and bought some black and cream lace ones to go with the new black bra.

I tend to buy packs of 5, aim to ditch the old grey ones, then end up keeping most of them as "just in case" knickers.

cheapskatemum · 14/04/2009 21:21

I'd say I have about 30 pairs too. One thong that I never wear, but don't know how to dispose of unembarrassingly! Others are nice bikini style, but some are wearing out (the cotton gusset starts getting holey), hence my other thread "Where can I buy KNICKERS?"

Bras? About 6.
