In green, brown, or magenta....I am small and blondy/brown shortish hair.

Not keen on the green but I think that's probably because it looks like something one of my Aunts, who was rather plump, used to wear.

I think the magenta and brown are fine but you'd have to be pretty slim to avoid verging on frumpy. If you really want a green dress then how about this one? If I had to to wear one of the dresses then I'd go for that one in the brown with something like this on my feet (I need the height!)

I am a size 8-10. I like the brown. I am not sure about the halter neck- I always feel strangled in halter necks! I am also quite old (45+)!! but look younger so I am told. also not sure about crinkle fabric- the crinkles don't last then it goes all big...but I will have another look thanks.

It's OK......not something I would wear day to day, but maybe for a posh lunch out or a christening? Prefer the brown.

kittywise · 12/04/2009 16:29

Brown is the best I guess, ntohing there is that great though.

forkhandles · 12/04/2009 16:36

I like the brown Riviera dress, don't think it's frumpy but it does look very Boden. I also like the Tie Back Tea Dress.

KristinaM · 12/04/2009 16:37

sorry but i am your age group and wouldnt touch it with a barge pole ( mind you i am not size 8 anymore )

it might look great on a tall skinny 20 something. on a ...ahem... short middle aged woman it will look frumpy.

i think there are much nicer dresses out there for £60

sorry to be so blunt. do not wish to offend

MrsMcCluskey · 12/04/2009 16:41

Ive got the green sunflower dress.
It is a lovely fit will be wearing it with cream wedges.
Hope dont look frumpy.

howtotellmum · 12/04/2009 16:56

No offence KristinaM.

The brown is really awful....the frumpiest of the lot.

The magenta and the red are ok.

I don't think this dress would do anything for anyone under 5'8 and who isn't very slim.

MrsMcCluskey · 12/04/2009 17:24

I have "this one"
in green.
Am worried now you will all think it is frumpy too!

KristinaM · 12/04/2009 18:36
