on easter sunday...

I find myself for the first time ever alone on easter sunday, my ex is having the kids on sunday for the day and I'm feeling the need for retail therapy... I know that shops like tesco's are shut but what about the high street shops..

anyone in the know, thanks

Probably none....

it probably depends where you are, but most places do close on easter sunday. check your local shopping centre site, it will tell you.

Lilyloo · 10/04/2009 20:59

oh dear, not a good day to go shopping me thinks!

thisisyesterday · 10/04/2009 20:59

i don't think any are open easter sunday

Bluewater is closed, and the local Asda too (and they open all the time) so my guess is all the shops are closed.

legally anything over 3000 sq ft is not allowed to open on easter sunday.
so, small shops technically can, but they probably won't because if the majority of a town centre/shopping centre is closed then they just won't get enough business.

Lilyloo · 10/04/2009 21:05

aah but the internet doesn't close.
And you can shop whilst eating chocolate in your pj's

bloody hell Lilyloo... I hadn't thought of that... I will shop after all
