Mumsnet & iPhone - great combination when buying a bra!

Needed a new bra, but didn't have time to go anywhere with a decent fitting service, so I searched for threads on bra fitting on MN, bookmarked them on the iPhone & went off to Tesco's, which does have a changing room and 3G coverage, so I could check up on all the fitting tips in peace.

Result - I'm a 34DD, not a 38C and I have two beautifully fitting comfortable bras.

Actually, I'm not really sure how I got the idea I was 36C - before I lost weight I used to wear 38D, but I was never really comfortable in them (I couldn't wear an underwired one at all as the wires dug in) and when I got to the shop I couldn't remember all the calculations & the advice on fitting, so I just bought one a bit smaller

This time I had the page open with the advice on making sure the middle is touching your sternum & with a bit of trial & error, got a couple of really nice ones.
