Help needed please

An old school friend is getting married and im going to the reception i need some inspiration what a size 16 could wear and look good i dont want to be rembered as a frump iykwim ? also need something i can either wear tights or knee high boots as have very bad scarring on my leg

Hey, you say size 16 as if it is awful. Size 14 is the average and 16 is just a bit bigger. You are asking for advice but just emphasising the negative. There is no reason you should look like a frump. Would you consider a long dress? This would look elegant. You could even do a "floaty" dress as long as you had a camisole underneath. Failing that, maybe smart trousers if you are unhappy with your leg. You could then wear any top to suit.
