dress ? For a family party in June ??

Would it look ok with black tights and heels though, as I am not keen on showing my legs off.

I am a size 12 with an ample bossom, not sure if the bow makes that a no no.

Its nice, I like it.

I'm not keen on showing my legs off either but wouldn't feel comfortable in black tights if it was hot - not as in I'd be too hot, but I'd think everyone was wondering why I was wearing tights. I'd go for a longer skirt or trousers. Is it an evening do?

HopeFortheFuture · 07/04/2009 20:57

Thanks

Do you think black tights and black high heels would be ok ??

I have high heel black patent mary jane style shoes.

HopeFortheFuture · 07/04/2009 20:58

It is only a casual party in a social club but i like to make an effort.

How ample is ample? My norks are very ample and I wouldn't wear a bow like that. The v neck on it is good for ampleness, however. You'd have to try it I guess.

Black tights fine, unless we are in the middle of a heatwave I'd say!

HopeFortheFuture · 07/04/2009 20:59

I will have not long got back from Spain so I suppose if I get a nice tan on my legs then I could wear it tightless if it is hot.

I like it. My norkettes could do with that bow.

Have left a post on a separate thread for you- this one was not working for a while!

Tortington · 07/04/2009 21:03

i don't think you should wear it if you have tits - and the cut might make you look pregnant if your not careful.

i think its rather plain an uninspiring, wheeas one can get plain yet classy - this isn't it.(sorry!)

HopeFortheFuture · 07/04/2009 21:05

No thats ok Custy, I wanted honest opinions.

Honestly, I don't think that the shape will flatter a curvy figure. I think you have to be straight up and down and v tall to avoid looking dumpy losing your waist.

I don't think black tights would work either, maybe some more neutral/grey opaques?

Sorry

I think it would have looked fab with black tights and mary janes at Christmas but will just look a bit wrong in June.

I have a knee length dress for a wedding in June and also intended to wear it with black tights, but it looked ridiculous for the summer.

Nice dress though. I would clash it with purple shoes and bangles/bag and bare tanned legs.
