Will these shoes go with this skirt?

I have notoriously bad style sense so was hoping you kind mumsnetters would help me out a bit. I have bought this skirt and was looking at these shoes to go with it. Do you think this would look ok?

That skirt would be fine with the right top and shoes, agree not those shoes.

Without knowing what you look like it's v hard!

Is this your usual style? Or do you normally wear completely different clothes?

To go from what you call "slightly frumpy" to baby pink miniskirt and mahoosive heels in one step might be a bit much.

Maybe do the shoes or similar with some jeans and work up to the full-on glamour look?

If you're not used to scanty clobber and heels you will feel v self concious as well....

We've discounted the shoes AND the skirt. Both are baaaad.

I do feel comfortable in skirts and heels. I've always been proud of my legs. I don't wear low tops at all as That makes me really uncomfortable.

I've mostly been wearing jeans for the last 5 years and am just fed up with them. Have some nice black trousers but don't want to wear them to death.

Nothing wrong with wearing skirts.
Nothing wrong with wearing miniskirts if you have good legs.
Nothing wrong with pink skirts.
There is something wrong with that pink skirt though, sorry.

I agree with all the comments above - the skirt and shoes are a bit yukky but MrsMaidamess's suggestions are good.

One final suggestion - why not change your MN name it might help your self esteem regarding your clothes!

I do like that skirt a lot better DSM. I shall have a shop around tomorrow and maybe save the other skirt for a fancy dress party or something!!! Thanks for all your advice without it I'd have gone out in that skirt next week!
