i want to talk about make up esp coloured eyeliners

in my birthday goodie bag from dh was green khaki eyeliner, apparently the latest thing (or so the girl in harvey nicks said to dh!)

do you layer it on or is it just for a hint?
do you wear eyeshadow with it too? or just on its own?

god i must be getting old, am so out of touch and i have to look at least half decent -
its my birthday party tonight!

I'd personally wear it with a bit of neutral shadow. Not too OT.

My friend (30) was wearing green eyeshadow etc the other day and looked fab - I bought the same stuff (I'm 38) - and it looked horrible on me!
Practice putting it on now - so if it doesn't look right you can get it all off on time.
Have you got fake tan as I think the greens look best on tanned skin.
Also - if its for night time - maybe too subtle? I think the greens are better for the daytime??
