Why do some women wear clothes that are obviously a size too small?

As demonstrated by Sarah Brown. The outfit is lovely, the colour suits her but it is too tight.

There is no point in being proud of getting into a size 12 if you really should be wearing a 14.

My MIL does this too. Why why why.

yes but possesive plural of it would be ladys' or possibly ladies' no? either way they're wrong as they're ytalking about both of them. (honestly, i was good at english once! )

Ladies'

RidiculousCrush · 02/04/2009 19:25

Michelle obama looks like she buttoned her cardy up wrong

Amandoh · 02/04/2009 19:38

I think navy blue suits her but that dress was too clingy.

This dress is a simalar colour and fabric to the one Sarah Brown is wearing but the less fitted, tummy skimming skirt would be more flattering.

That dress and jacket looks like it was designed for a much older person. Amandoh's suggestion would have been far, far nicer on her and looked dressier.

MO's casual yet sequined creation was unsuitable also really. It was like neither of them had read the dress code.

atigercametotea · 02/04/2009 19:50

did she not look in the mirror?

Amandoh · 02/04/2009 20:00

Similar* even.

peasholme · 02/04/2009 20:01

might we leave Sarah Brown alone now?

FAQinglovely · 02/04/2009 20:07

oh god I know I shouldn't, but my first thought on the middle of the row of 3 photos is "does my bum look big in this".............ermm yes

Mind you - don't like MO's outfit their either

frannikin · 02/04/2009 21:19

Technically it should be First Lady's (as there's only 1 First Lady in that photo) but then it would only be criticising Michelle Obama. I don't see the Queen anywhere near there, and in any case Britain's First Lady is always very well dressed.

And it's not Sarah Brown, who does seem to be wearing a size too small.
