OK, so I'm getting old. I need more coverage than tinted moisturiser

I currently use Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser, with Nars pressed powder. However, I'm not sure it's really giving me the coverage that I need. However, I'm 32 in June, and don't want to look like an old trout who has piled on the slap. Can anyone suggest a light, natural foundation, that blends nicely and gives that elusive glowy complexion I yearn for?

TIA

Only 32?

(I'm using LM tinted moisturiser at the moment and I've got an entire decade on you......!)

I went out the other night and wore a heavier foundation, and looked really nice. Now that one is too heavy for daytime, so I need something inbetween the two.

I like Clinique Almost Make-Up.

Bare Escentuals all the way for me. I'm 36

Agree about Bare Escentuals! It's the most fantastic foundation I've ever used. It gives flawless coverage without looking like you're actually wearing any.

But is it messy? I have a 2yo dd who loves my make up bag and hovers at my feet whilst I apply it, begging for the lipgloss.

chanel vitalumiere or for more coverage Christian Dior back Stage foundation

I love the Armani range - their luminous foundation is gorgeous and gives a medium weight, soft finish and they also do a lighter coverage base called Face Fabric which is sort of their version of a tinted moisturiser (but with a bit more coverage than Laura Mercier I'd say) and gives a very matte finish as it has some silicon in it - good for shiny, summer face!

Bare escentuals can be messy but you only need a tiny amount in the lid for good coverage

I just keep the pots out of the way of the DC.

Btw Mineral Veil in the range is the best ever powder I have used, lasts ALL day.
