Okay am still looking for a nice floaty/maxi thing for summer, I shared one on here a couple of weeks ago and was shockingly off the mark - have lost all sense of dressing self since having baby 9 mths ago, so am still looking..would really like your opinions on this.

I like the dress.
It would be rubbish on anyone of any size who has sizable norkage, side boobs issues or any remote back fat.

It's lovely. Doesn't look like you could wear a bra with it, so lucky you if you can get away with that!

notyummy · 02/04/2009 07:28

Very pretty, but would echo the comments about large boobs not being a good thing in it.

I am 34 AA (34A on a good day!) and I'm eying it with interest!

Thanks Ladies

norks (where did that originate?) I am on the small size...32B...but still need some support...hadn't thought of bra wearing situation so I guess this'll be a no then.

I think it's gorgeous! But the shoes underneath are even more goregeous! I didn't realise they did international shipping so I'm now salivating!

Am still tempted...maybe I could wear a halter neck bra (are there such things?)

It says it comes in cotton & cotton voile....what's the difference? is cotton voile thinner? can't believe i'm asking!

which colourway? voile is thinner, somewhat seethrough. i disagree on the tits front - i reckon you need a c-ish cup to make it work. halter neck (usually multiway) bras are everywhere.

i don't understand maxi dresses though - i've never seen one in real life (rather than advert/catalogue/photoshoot) that looked good.

Lovey dress! Bigger norks would be ok I think. I have a great max dress that I bought last summer and it's fab, hides all manner of sins when it comes to belly, bum and thighs

Lovely dress

Cotton voile is floaty, IMO they must be floaty or they can look too heavy and bulky.
